Career Development
UCSB Career Services offers a number of career development services, both in person and online, to undergraduate students, including:
• Receive feedback on resumes and cover letters
• Sharpen interview skills with a self-guided service
• Begin a career advising journey by speaking with a Career Peer Advisor
• Access jobs, internships, and employers online through Handshake
UCSB students can view workshops offered by UCSB Career Services through Handshake.
The UCSB Environmental Studies Program also offers a number of resources on environmental careers, environmental organizations, funding opportunities, and graduate studies.
Fellowship & Research Opportunities
Training opportunities exist on campus in the form of fellowship and research positions, which allow students to gain hands-on experience in the environmental field to discover areas of interest, develop practical skills for future careers, and in some cases, allow students to earn income while gaining work experience.
Additional Leadership Training
In addition to the Environmental Leadership Incubator, other program at UCSB offer courses and workshops that allow students to learn and practice essential leadership skills while pursuing undergraduate studies.
