Carbon accounting is a critical tool for the climate movement in managing greenhouse gas emissions from buisnesses, governments, and individuals. This workshop will provide an overview of the theory and application of carbon accounting, including common tools and case studies of real world examples. Students will practice basic carbon accounting calculations to build carbon footprints, and learn how carbon footprints are used to manage and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
